Personal Statement

Daniel is an aspiring Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat physician). Born in North Caldwell, New Jersey, he graduated from West Essex Regional High School and then went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology, with a minor in Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology. Daniel has extensive private tutoring experience working with numerous families. He especially loves teaching math and science to students of all levels and believes that teaching a student how to understand the concept behind a problem is the best way for a student to become independent in their studies. He likes to ask questions throughout his lessons, and encourages teach-back. He believes that if the student can teach a topic back to him, they truly understand the steps and reasons behind the fundamentals. Daniel also enjoys coaching middle school and high school basketball and the mentoring opportunities that come with it! He looks forward to giving back to the community that gave him so much!
