Bassey is an alumnus of New Jersey Institute of Technology, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has always strived to impart high academic standards and meaningful social values in student’s lives by sharing his life experiences. He is able to provide a theoretical and practical point of view of teach at all levels of mathematics and physics because of his educational background in Civil Engineering and professional work experience. These experiences, with his many other civic involvements, such as being a Hall Education Fund, Inc. trustee, has provided an avenue to guide and impact today’s youth in a positive matter. He believes that students should learn to generate substantive thought processes by improving cue and retrieval skills and critical thinking techniques—all of which are necessary to develop a habit of discipline thought process.
