“…Colleen as went above and beyond offering extra help after school and was routinely surrounded by groups of students eager to ask questions, clarify material, and even share about their lives.”

Satisfied Parent

“…Colleen is a dedicated and compassionate teacher who takes the time to get know her students’ strengths and areas for development and is able to create strategic plans for academic progress. Thoughtful, responsible and well-organized, Colleen is able to draw on her experience in the classroom to provide personalized support and guidance for students as a tutor. She also provides the right amount of personal support while keeping a firm, professional relationship with students.”

Satisfied Parent

“…She clearly understood which students had special needs, becoming very familiar with IEPs and 504s and providing them with the extra time and attention they needed. Even for students that were not officially classified, she observed where they struggled in the classroom, and these observations led to Colleen developing note-taking sheets for all the freshmen and sometimes providing extra review on topics with which students needed more time.”
