Personal Statement

George holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from The University of Pennsylvania.  He currently monitors his investments in Ghana, Senegal and Gambia, all in West Africa.  George has always had a love for teaching. After his Bachelors degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana, he did his national service to the nation for the free University education he received from the Government by teaching in the Economics department of the University for a year. George’s father was indeed an Accounting Professor in the School of Administration at the University of Ghana. George has taught Math and SAT Math to his older son, who is now a senior in high school, and Math and all the SSAT subjects to his younger son,, and two of his classmates. In addition, George taught both Mr. Steven Ellmore and Master Miles Trojian in High School Algebra.

George works with student to identify their strengths and weaknesses through a series of tests, and then devices a plan to quickly improve the weaknesses through a series of increasing grades of work.  George believes in doing problem solving together with his students. This enables him to identify where the student may be having difficulty, and addresses it with creative ways that stays with the student. In his spare time, George is a fitness enthusiast, who works out in the gym regularly. He loves reading and playing the numbers puzzle game of Sudoku.
