Jaimee is a teacher for a top level Hebrew Academy in Northern NJ. She currently teaches children and adolescents with emotional, learning and cognitive delays and challenges. She graduated from Towson University in Towson, Maryland, with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education. Jaimee’s focus remains elementary and middle school special education students. Jaimee compliments her school year schedule during her summers. Her camp and summer experiences have led her to work with typically developing youngsters, at-risk youth and academically and socially delayed children and adolescents. Both the school year and summer activities allow Jaimee to help her students develop functional skills based on her academic instruction. Jaimee’s enthusiasm, passion, drive and goal-oriented style always encourages her students to work hard and never give up, no matter how difficult the task. The excitement Jaimee sees in a childs’ eyes when they realize they understand something or when they accomplish something is what she always looks forward to.
