Liliana is a committed lifelong learner, an educator, and a faculty member in the science department of a nationally ranked prestigious high school in Basking Ridge, NJ. Having worked with high school students for 22 years, she has experience teaching and tutoring biology and anatomy. In 2002, she received the Herbert Hahn Award for Excellence in Teaching. She has attended numerous professional development workshops to stay current in teaching pedagogy and expand her content knowledge. She enjoys working with students to impart her love and passion for the life sciences. For the past 30 years she has also coached middle and high school athletes in field hockey , basketball and softball. She enjoys travel, reading and exercise.
