Personal Statement

Nicholas is a mathematics enthusiast and faculty member at a Blue-Ribbon Award winning school in Northern NJ.  Having worked with students of all ages, he has experience teaching algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and AP calculus AB in addition to various standardized test prep.  Nicholas is pursuing his master’s degree in Educational Technology and strongly believes that when used correctly, technology can make a significant impact on a student’s learning.  When he is not in classroom teaching, he can be found coaching on the volleyball and basketball court, performing at open mic night, or engaging in strategic board games.  Nicholas attributes his tutoring success to three main ideas: a personal connection, relating content, and engaging students
