Russell is a former faculty member of a college-preparatory boarding school in upstate Connecticut. As a graduate from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a mathematics degree, Russell continued his love of math by teaching AP Calculus AB, Honors Calculus, College Algebra, and Algebra 1. During his teaching career, Russell participated in Advanced Placement training as well as multiple trainings on different methods of teaching. The most important lesson he took from these trainings is the importance of self-discovery. Russell views this method as the most beneficial and fun way to teach and learn. After three years as a teacher, coach, and advisor he decided to change fields and now works as an Analyst in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Russell is a giver and teacher at heart. For that reason, he is looking to reconnect with students in order to not only get students excited about everything math has to offer but also to become a mentor. In his free time, Russell enjoys running, soccer, tennis, carpentry, and community service.
