Teraysa is an educator in the science department of a private school in Pennington, NJ. She has experience working with grades 6-12 both in and out of the classroom in a variety of subjects including biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, and environmental science. She believes students are most successful when they can relate to material being covered and does her best to find connections to accomplish this. Teraysa practices student-centered learning in her classroom and works diligently to meet students where they are at; she makes it a priority to work at a pace that brings the highest level of success to the student’s learning process. Teraysa holds a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences from The College of Saint Scholastica. In her free time she enjoys playing ice hockey and skijoring with her Alaskan Malamute.
