Charles brings a unique perspective to college counseling with over 25 years of experience working with both high school and college students. He graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he majored in Political Science and then received his Masters in Education from the University of South Carolina in Student Personnel Services. Charles’ first professional experience was at the Warner Brothers Film Studio, where he supervised a film project which worked in collaboration with over 300 colleges and universities. During this time and throughout his professional career, he has visited hundreds of colleges and universities throughout the United States. Having worked as a Director of Student Activities and Assistant Director of Orientation at the college level, he was responsible for all incoming activities for first year students. Working with campus student organizations, Charles was instrumental in creating a vibrant, exciting campus atmosphere. More recently, for ten years, he worked as a School Counselor at several high schools in New Jersey helping students with college applications. Currently, Charles works as an Independent College Counselor helping students submit applications to colleges and universities. In addition, he has been guiding families through the process of applying for merit and financial aid scholarships. Applying to college can often be a complicated and confusing process and Charles has made it his mission to support students and families.
Anthony is an experienced educator and one of the Co-Founders of Embrace Tutoring and Educational Services. Prior to forming Embrace, Anthony was a former Admissions Faculty Liaison at Stanford University. As a teacher in the classroom and as a tutor, Anthony saw the need for students to find a holistic and personalized educational support system. And, thus Embrace Tutoring & Educational Services was launched with the belief that teachers have the power to motivate, inspire, and even instill a love of learning! He has authored or co-authored numerous publications and conducted research at University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, and Cal Berkley. He has experience teaching high school mathematics, reading, writing, physics, chemistry (college, honors, AP), biology (college, honors, AP), anatomy and physiology (college level), organic chemistry (college level), and test prep (ACT/ SAT/ ISEE/ SSAT). In 2013, Mr. Weinkopff was recognized nationally as “Teacher of the Week” by Carney Sandoe and Associates. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading literature, and staying active.
