Justin graduated from University of Maryland with his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. Ever since high school, he has been passionate about assisting students in pursuing success both in the academic and professional world. His tutoring/mentoring journey started with his high school's Student Ambassador Program and National Honor Society, where Justin tutored underclassmen in various math and science subjects. Justin was also assigned to a freshman Algebra 1 class to assist with the course content and serve as a role model in the area of taking leadership initiatives and prepping for college. He also worked as a private tutor in the Washington DC area (DMV) specializing in High School math, Physics, and Standardized Testing. Having held leadership positions and a variety of aviation internships, he truly enjoys sharing tips with younger students on how to successfully adapt and overcome academic challenges. He has learned from his experience that learning takes time and strong academic results are not an overnight success. Hence, it is important for a tutor to have a high level of adaption skills and be able to measure a student’s progress, understand their challenges, as well as share perspective on what the end goal looks like—which is why, with every tutoring session, his aim is to deliver a holistic game plan, where the student can takeaway academic lessons as well as tips on preparing for future milestones such as college prep, leadership involvement, volunteer/ internship opportunities etc. In addition to tutoring, Justin also works as a full-time engineer in the Federal Government. He is highly passionate about Aviation and in his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, singing, writing songs, reading, and following European soccer.
