Uri is a certified Math Teacher, educator, and faculty mentor in northern NJ. He has been working with high school students both regular and Bilingual (English/Spanish) program for more than 10 years, and he has experience teaching algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and HSPA Math Preparation. Uri believes that students learn best by practicing and working together in groups. As a teacher and tutor, he motives students by making feel confident solving math problems and reminding students that they already have the power and they just have to activate it with a CAN do attitude to accomplish the goal. Uri holds a B.S in Engineering and Mathematics from NJIT and Middlesex County College. Before teaching in the Public Schools, he worked as a math tutor at the Middlesex County College helping college students to prepare for quizzes, tests and projects.
