Personal Statement
Alan's educational background incudes a B.A. from Columbia and a PhD in the Social Sciences from Harvard University. For over twenty years, he has helped students from different backgrounds, accelerated learners as well as those with learning challenges, public as well as private school attendees, succeed in the classroom and beyond. His philosophy is to help every student reach his or her unique potential through learning in a way that builds the skills and broadened perspectives that lead to success. We learn together in a way that encourages creative thinking as well the confidence to tackle new areas of study.
