Testimonials
"I recently got in touch with Debbie W. for help with my current college essay. Before sending Debbie my essay, I had two high school English teachers and my parents look at it, so I thought it was close to finished. She used track changes to suggest edits for my essay and when I opened my essay after reviewed it, it was completely torn apart (in the best way possible). She caught so many errors that no one, not even my English teacher who teaches grammar and writing, had caught before! We also chatted about the college admissions process afterwards. It was extremely comforting talking to her because she obviously had lots of knowledge and experience with the admissions process and let me know she could help me with any step of the way. She's easy going, immensely helpful, experienced and genuinely cares about her students." - Alison D.
"Debbie is tutoring my son (who is a high school freshman) in English and Writing. She is extremely professional, patient, kind, and thorough. My son feels at ease with her and is thankful that he is getting the writing support he needs. She comes prepared to either help him with his homework or work with on various skills. He is learning a lot from her and his writing is improving. She is easy to get in touch and is flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend Debbie!" - Danielle M.
"I like Debbie's planned approach and her preparedness before a class based on the need. She not only challenges my son with materials fit for his age, but also insists on strengthening his foundation. We are very happy with the way she works with our son, and she is just what we were looking for." - Anitha P.
"Debbie was able to provide tutoring for both my girls for SAT prep and ISEE prep. She was very patient with my one daughter, who needs a bit more help as she has some learning differences. Then she was able to give my other daughter, who needs to be challenged a bit more, just what she needs for her SAT prep. She always showed up on time and was able to explain everything to me at the end of the session. I would recommend Debbie if your child needs an English tutor. She also is well versed on all aspects of the testing for SAT and ACT. She didn't have a lot of knowledge about the ISEE, but she did research so she was prepared prior to tutoring." - Julie K.
