Personal Statement
Evan believes that all people learn best with kindness and positive reinforcement. His teaching approach incorporates these positive elements with a strong work ethic and focus on skill building. He puts a great deal of effort in providing easy-to-understand lessons that are relevant to the students' lives. He also attempts to make his classes fun. Most people seem to improve at a faster pace when they are enjoying themselves. Evan always begins with an informal assessment to determine the student's present levels of performance. In accordance with this assessment, he will create a customized learning plan and tailor the lessons for each student's individual needs.
