Personal Statement

Evan holds a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College, and an MA in English Literature with concentration in Creative Writing from NYU. She worked in Education at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for many years, and now runs a small business offering interactive museum tours inspired by great stories. She has special expertise in working with elementary and middle school students on reading and writing, often using books and great stories, as well as students’ particular interests, as a takeoff point.
