Testimonials
"We started working with Ian when Covid hit and school went remote with the intention of supplementing online learning. Immediately my boys loved working with him and his value proved well beyond simply supplemental work. He got my kids excited about reading and writing. He taught at their level and made sure to engage them in writing exercises that were rooted in their interests so it didn't feel like homework. Ian inspired enthusiasm around writing and taught them basic writing principals as well as more colorful writing styles." – Jen G.
“I highly recommend Ian for tutoring. He is an incredible person and an amazing tutor. He started working with my ten-year-old when schools were closed due to Covid. Working with young children over Zoom cannot be easy, however, Ian was very engaging. He always started out the lesson asking my son questions and breaking the ice. Ian challenged him without overwhelming him, and he always tied the work back to my son interests to better connect. Ian goes above and beyond traditional tutoring and I highly recommend his services. Ian is patient and professional. My favorite part of the lesson was the first five minutes when we would ask questions and just talk to my son. My son learned how to log in to Zoom, say hello, look him in the eye and hold a conversation. Those skills will take him farther than the math and writing Ian helped him with. My son’s math and writing skills set him apart in the classroom and has provided him a strong basis for everything he is learning now." – Leslie G.
