Personal Statement

Jade is a life-long learner. She started off following in her mother's and father's footsteps to pursue a career in medicine, but instead found her true interest in biology. She then went on to study at the Paris Diderot University receiving her B.S. with a Genetics major and then furthering her studies in Genetics with a Master's degree specializing in Human Genetics. Throughout her educational experience, she has helped her peers and also taught all age levels as well as a variety of topics. Seeing the progress of her students has been the ultimate reward. Jade believes that perseverance and knowledge go hand-in-hand and her philosophy is that if you don't understand something the first time around, keep at it and you will eventually get it whether from a different style of teaching, repetition, or from a different source. She is eager to share her knowledge and experience with younger learners and help them prepare for their future.
