Personal Statement

John is a professional educator who is constantly trying to find ways to cater his teaching for the greater benefit of his students. As a teacher, he has experience developing and implementing curriculums for diverse learners and designs methods to maximize the curriculum’s effectiveness. He is constantly seeking opportunities to incorporate creative ways to approach the learning of mathematics, and teaches in experiential ways that draw from student experiences outside of the classroom. His experience teaching in an international school, a public school setting and a charter school setting have helped him become a well-rounded teacher, and he draws from this experience to cater to the individual needs of his students. When he is not teaching, John enjoys taking part in a few different activities, including soccer, diving, snowboarding and mountain biking. He looks forward to working with you!
