Personal Statement
As a former university professor who has worked closely with the admissions offices at Loyola University, New Orleans and Tulane University. Dr. Fidler has valuable knowledge and insight into the higher application process. Consequently, Dr. Fidler brings an in-depth understanding to what is needed to create successful applications for college and graduate schools. She works closely with the student at each stage of the application process. This work includes course selection, test requirements, essay preparation, considerations for early and regular decision, interview preparation and final school selection. Her students have received offers of admission from the following schools: Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, Yale, Georgetown University, University of Michigan, University of Virginia, University of California, Berkeley, Emory University, New York University, Boston College, Villanova, Bucknell, Elon among others. Dr. Fidler is dedicated to working with students and their famlies as they navigate the college process. In addition to college advising, Dr. Fidler enjoys tutoring students as they prepare for the English/Reading sections of the ACT and the SAT, the ISEE and SSAT. She additionally works with students on AP preparation for the US, European, and World History and Latin exams.
