Personal Statement

Katie has over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring Elementary aged children. She currently teaches 2nd grade and tutors children in grades 1-5. Katie teaches in an in class support environment, enabling her to strategize and educate children who have learning challenges. She has extensive experience working with children who have IEP's, struggle with basic concepts as well as children who are ready for extension of skills. Katie uses a multi-sensory approach when appropriate and will cater to your child's needs. Building confidence is key!
