Personal Statement

A lifelong educator, Lawrence Wolff spent 36 years with the New Jersey Public Education system, with most of his career in college guidance. Having spent quality time as a counselor in some of Bergen County’s most prestigious schools, Larry culminated his career as the Director of Guidance for one of the state’s top-rated school districts. Larry retired from NJ and moved to Florida, where he provides college guidance for a local private school. As a college advisor, Larry has embraced the “Best Fit” model, seeking the schools that best match a student’s abilities and desires, and has seen his students attend colleges of all levels, from Ivy to state and everything in-between. Happily married for nearly 30 years, and the proud father of 23-year-old twin sons, Larry spends his free time going to the beach, exercising, reading, and enjoying life.
