Personal Statement
A former Rutgers lecturer, Maura has taught high school and college students in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens for 3 years. She takes an empathetic approach to learning where she builds a rapport with her students to determine their strengths and weaknesses as well as their motivations. She believes that anyone can learn anything if they are taught effectively.
