Personal Statement

Nick is a math teacher and has been teaching Middle School Math through Algebra I for over 17 years. He enjoys helping his students find success in the classroom and challenging them to develop as a learner. As a middle school teacher, Nick recognizes that each of his students learns differently, and he helps his students develop their organization and study skills as well as their math skills. He has experience working with students who struggle with math as well as those who are in honors and advanced classes. He knows that understanding basic math skills is important, but the true joy of learning mathematics is applying what you know to the world around you. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his dog, cooking and playing volleyball.
