Personal Statement

Perry currently teaches Astronomy, Biology, Environmental Science and Human Anatomy & Physiology at Friends Select School in Philadelphia PA. Teaching provides him with a new challenge every day, more importantly, the kinds of challenges that he embraces more than any other profession can offer. In the course of striving to reach his students Perry relies on his organizational, communication and creative skills. When Perry implements a lesson or tutoring session, he makes sure to introduce and then investigate concepts in ways that are significant and relatable to his students. He firmly believes that processes that are presented in an intriguing manner piques curiosity and encourages his students to ask deeper questions.
