Personal Statement

Peter is an experienced educator and lifelong aficionado of math and science. Studying both Mathematics and Biology, he has a deep understanding of the material found in the most challenging courses offered in high school and beyond. While still an undergrad at Rutgers University, he worked pro bono to help his friends succeed in their common core math and science courses. These experiences spurred a passion for educating others that has translated into thousands of hours of tutoring and a full-time teaching position at a prestigious public high school in Morris County. When he is not teaching, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and their new daughter at the beach and in the wonderful parks in his community. He also enjoys traveling, playing golf and basketball, running, solving the New York Times crosswords, and spending time outdoors.
