Personal Statement
Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Susan Kimmerlein, and I have been teaching for 33 years. I have taught middle school as well as high school English Language Arts in Rhode Island since 1990. I have also done private tutoring, freelance editing, and writing. For more than a decade, I have taught both the AP English Language and Composition and the AP English Literature and Composition. My students would describe me as friendly, fair, organized, and caring. I pride myself on building a rapport with my students and helping them grow academically. I look forward to seeing how I can help you with your ELA needs.
Education
I have a B.S. degree in English literature as well as an M.S. degree in education, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
