Personal Statement
I am pleased and excited to represent Embrace in helping students reach their highest academic goals. My passion is to connect with students as individuals to tailor and optimize the learning experience to their needs and strengths. I have been blessed to enjoy a wide-ranging education followed by a Wall Street career in international banking, and I am enthusiastic about inspiring students to engage their course work by showing them its connection to the greater world that includes their hopes and dreams. Geometry gets them not only the new rug for their room, but also, perhaps, the design for a budding architect's dream building. Rhetoric can provide the speech that sets off a second-half rally that wins the States, and it can inspire entire peoples to change course in search of freedom and liberty. With a need or reason to learn something, the education process becomes a quest that raises up young people to be their best. To aide in that quest is why I teach.
