Personal Statement
Victoria holds a PhD in Statistics and Mathematics in Michigan State University. She has excellent experience in tutoring students of all ages with 15 years of classroom teaching and private tutoring experience. She is innovative in tailoring instruction to meet the needs of both advanced and general students. She has a passion for advancing academic progress and helping students develop critical-thinking skills and make a difference in students’ learning. She has successfully elevated student performance in different Math and Statistics subjects or boosted SAT test scores to the new high levels or increased the SAT scores 25-50%. Victoria provides outstanding services as a patient teacher and an excellent communicator. She can break down even the most complex geometry proofs, trigonometry calculation, and algebra or calculus concepts into simple, manageable chunks that are easy to understand with clear explanation. She is passionate about on building academic confidence, igniting intellectual curiosity, and inspiring a love for learning with middle and high school students.
