Vince
Personal Statement
Vince has been teaching Mathematics and Computer Science for over three decades, and finds joy in working with students of various backgrounds and ability levels. He spent several years teaching every level of middle school mathematics before teaching high school mathematics, and he has spent over 25 years teaching Computer Science and technology courses. He taught AP Computer Science A and AB in C++ before the College Board decided Java would be the language for the AP Computer Science exam. He has been teaching Java, AP Computer Science, and web development for decades. While obtaining his degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, he focused on developing three-tier web applications. He is eager to help students get their first introduction to Computer Science or help them prepare for the AP Computer Science exam. He loves connecting with students and giving them the exposure and confidence they need to succeed using technology to solve complex problems.
